Credits & Billing

arkmetis offers a flexible subscription model with BYOAI (Bring Your Own AI). On the free tier, you pay with credits. Starting from the Starter plan, you bring your own AI connector and use everything unlimited.

Two Billing Modes

Free Tier (Credit-based)

On the free plan, you use the platform key and pay with credits:

• 100 Credits upon registration
• Monthly refill to 100 credits (non-stacking)
• Mid-Month Bonus: 50 credits one-time when balance = 0
• 1 project, all features available for testing
• No time limit

Paid Plans (BYOAI -- unlimited)

Starting from the Starter plan, connect your own AI connector (OpenRouter, Ollama, etc.):

• No credits needed -- AI usage is unlimited
• AI costs are paid directly to the provider
• Platform fee as a monthly subscription or lifetime purchase

Free (no credit cost):

• Basic content analysis (word count, readability)
• Issues overview
• Report generation
• Alert rules
• Team management
• All dashboards and overviews

Your Balance

You can always see your current balance:

• In the header -- Next to the help icon as a number with a coin symbol
• Before every paid action -- "This action costs X credits. Your balance: Y"

When your balance gets low, the display turns red.

Transaction History

Under Billing you can see your recent transactions:

• Date -- When was it charged?
• Type -- Debit or credit
• Amount -- How many credits
• Description -- e.g. "SEO Crawl -- dr-mueller.at" or "Monthly refill"

Invoices

Every payment (subscription or lifetime) generates an invoice:

• Downloadable as PDF
• Includes invoice number, date, amount, and VAT
• Collected under Billing → Invoices
