Alerts & Notifications
Alerts notify you automatically when important metrics change – whether it's an SEO score drop, new issues, or a spike in error rate.
Alerts Overview
The alerts page shows all triggered notifications:
- Color-coded cards – Red (critical), Yellow (warning), Blue (info)
- Type badge – Which metric triggered the alert?
- Title & message – What exactly happened?
- Timestamp – When was the alert triggered?
You can filter alerts by:
- Type – e.g. only SEO score or GEO score alerts
- Status – All, Unread, or Read
Managing Alerts
- Mark as read individually – Click on the alert
- Mark all as read – Button in the top right
Alert Rules
Alert rules define when you get notified. Find them under Alerts → Rules.
Creating a Rule
- Click "New Rule"
- Choose the Metric – What should be monitored?
SEO Score– Overall SEO score of the siteGEO Score– AI visibility scoreIssues Count– Total number of open issuesPages Crawled– Number of pages in the crawlError Rate– Percentage of errored pages
- Choose the Condition – When should it trigger?
- Less than, less than or equal, greater than, greater than or equal, equals
- Set the Threshold – e.g. "SEO Score less than 70"
- Choose the Channel – Where do you want to be notified?
In-App– In the notification centerEmail– Via emailBoth– In-app and email
- Click "Save"
Managing Rules
- Enable/Disable – Toggle button in the rules table
- Edit – Change metric, condition, threshold, or channel
- Delete – Permanently remove the rule
Default rules: arkmetis automatically creates sensible baseline rules for new projects, e.g. "SEO Score below 50" or "More than 20 critical issues".
Notification Center
The notification center (bell icon in the header) shows your latest notifications. It automatically refreshes every 30 seconds.
You can:
- See all unread notifications
- Mark individual ones as read
- Mark all as read at once
- Filter by type
Notification Preferences
Under Notifications → Preferences you can configure per alert type:
- Enabled – Should this type trigger notifications?
- Channels – In-app, email, or both
Tip: Alerts are free. Create as many rules as you need – never miss an important change.
