What Data Gets Synced?
The following metrics are retrieved per page and search query:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Impressions | How often your page appeared in search results |
| Clicks | How often users clicked on your result |
| Position | Average position in search results |
| CTR | Click-through rate (clicks / impressions) |
Data is synced automatically every day.
Insight Engine
The Insight Engine automatically analyzes your search data using four algorithms:
Low CTR Opportunities
Pages with high impressions but low click-through rate. Optimizing meta tags pays off here -- the traffic is there, it's just not being captured.
Keyword Cannibalization
Multiple pages ranking for the same search query, stealing traffic from each other. arkmetis shows you which pages are affected.
Low Hanging Fruit
Search queries where you rank at position 5--15. With small optimizations, you can reach the first page.
Content Decay
Pages whose rankings have dropped in recent weeks. Catch the decline early, before traffic drops off.
Tip: Check the Insight Engine regularly. "Low Hanging Fruit" are often the fastest path to more organic traffic.
Search Data in the SEO Module
After connecting, search data appears directly in the SEO module:
- Page detail: Each page shows its search performance (top keywords, impressions, clicks)
- Trends: Development of key metrics over time
Cost
The search data integration is free. Syncing does not consume any credits.
